+ Practice Manager - Baton Rouge

The Practice Manager will render full-time, professional services in the capacity of CEO of the organization, including all physician and provider clinics (collectively, the “Company”). The Practice Manager will faithfully, industriously and to the best of his/her ability, perform all duties that may be required by virtue of the position as Practice Manager and all duties set forth in the Company’s governing laws, regulations, contracts and bylaws and in policy statements of the Board of Directors, to implement the strategic goals and objectives of the Company. The Practice Manager will be committed to providing inspiring and effective leadership while administering, directing and coordinating all activities of the Company toward the fulfillment of the Company’s values, mission, strategy, and the achievement of its annual goals and objectives.

The Practice Manager works in a face-paced environment, with a high level of activity and frequent interruptions and multiple competing demands. Work continues beyond normal office hours. The CEO regularly rounds in patient care areas as well as non-patient care areas and may be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Some travel is an expectation as the CEO will often visit multiple clinic locations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to be able to read and prepare documentation, and ability to adjust focus required for computer input.

Masters degree (e. g., Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration); graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Management or related field; five years directly related experience with healthcare facilities of similar size and structure, including successful navigation through a growth phase, required. Leadership of organizations with > 25 employees and > 5 million in revenues preferred.

+ Marketing Coordinator

Job Description The role of the Marketing Coordinator is intended to increase revenue of the medical practice by expanding physician referrals, maintaining and strengthening already established referring physician relationships, and promoting awareness of our brand in the community. The Marketing Coordinator makes weekly visits to established and potential referring physician offices within our marketplace, and coordinates customer service needs between referring offices and Dermasurgery Center. The Marketing Coordinator implements an outreach program including development of a series of regular events and patient seminars in the community.

Job Requirements Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in PC software and marketing apps ( Regional travel required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from referral sources, patients, and other customers. Present a highly professional image.

About Dermasurgery Center Dermasurgery Center was founded in 2008 by Dr. Prather to address the rising incidence of skin cancer in our area. Working with primary care physicians and patients' primary dermatologists to diagnose and treat skin cancer, he focuses on the highly effective, cosmetically sensitive Mohs technique. He is the only fellowship-trained dermatologist in Baton Rouge, having received his training with the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). Since that time, Dr. Prather has participated in the treatment of over 12,000 patients.

Our leading dermatology practice with offices in Baton Rouge and Lafayette is seeking a dynamic and dependable Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team in providing an exceptional experience and optimal results for our patients.

Responsibilities include surgical and dermatological clinical assistance, general nursing care such as patient triage, medical history documentation, assisting physicians during patient examinations and procedures, administering medications, patient education, scheduling, clinic organization, and patient-related clerical duties.

Computer experience required. Dermatology experience helpful.
